Krista has been a licensed attorney for 20 years. She was in the top 30% of her class at Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she served as an articles editor for the Indiana Law Journal and the Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board. Krista formerly worked as a Lead Quality Editor for LexisNexis, where she performed writing quality control for a team of 50 lawyer-editors and developed benchmark quality standards for over 500 editors. Krista previously worked in the litigation group at Huddleston Bolen, in the labor and employment group at Dinsmore, and as the Assistant Director of the Legal Division at a major state agency. Having practiced on both sides of a civil practice and as in-house counsel, she knows first-hand the challenges attorneys face balancing the practice of law with client development.
Krista has the unique distinction of having created and delivered a one-hour presentation on proper use of the comma. She has also been published both in print and online. You can learn more about Krista on LinkedIn.

Jeff has 36 years of experience in the executive and legislative branches of government and brings unique insight into public policy and economic issues.
Jeff points out that his writing has always been effective despite never having viewed Krista’s one-hour presentation on proper use of the comma. You can learn more about Jeff on LinkedIn.

Paula brings a lifetime of organizational and administrative experience to her role as our administrative manager. Paula’s background includes experience as a trusted paralegal and secretary, and, at the beginning of her career, a benefits coordinator. Prior to joining TOPDOG as a full-time employee, Paula worked as an accounting clerk for a major West Virginia car dealership.
Besides her ability to work with words and numbers, Paula is an avid crafter. Her love of all things crafty led her to own and operate her own home-based business for more than a decade while raising her family. During this time, she taught monthly card classes where she instructed 25-30 students per session. She loves helping people reach their full potential and meet the goals they set for themselves.
Samantha and her husband are proud parents of their young son. In her spare time, Samantha is a lover of everything creative. She enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time with her family and loving pets.
